ABOUT THE OWNER

Rob Garfield, owner of Dream Catcher Coaches, grew up in Enon, Ohio, near Springfield. He has lived in the Dayton, OH area his entire life. Rob is a 1986 graduate of Wright State University’s College of Business, where he received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration. Rob has been self-employed for nearly 32 years. Rob and his family have always loved the sport of hockey and it is through this love that he eventually started Dream Catcher Coaches.

While traveling to hockey games to watch some of his favorite teams play “road” games, Rob noticed how teams were traveling uncomfortably in seated buses or sleeper coaches that were too small to accommodate the entire team. He wanted to do something to help improve the travel conditions and road records of these teams.
He purchased his first sleeper coach in August of 2006. The coach was completely updated, renovated, and mechanically improved. This process included adding enough beds to sleep 23 players and staff.
He now has a fleet of sleeper coaches that travel full time to service professional, college and high school sports teams, Broadway shows, and musicians. All of these coaches are completely updated and modified to meet company design and safety specifications. Dream Catcher Coaches now services countless college and professional sports teams, Broadway shows, and musicians. Check out our growing list of clients on our “Preferred Partners” tab.
“I am a small business owner and cater to whoever needs our services. Big or small, we service them all. We provide a safe, comfortable, and practical mode of transportation to get our customers to their venues, vacations, or events, and we do it with confidence and pride.”
“One thing I will never get tired of hearing from our customers is how people stare at our coaches as they arrive at a hotel, arena, performing arts center, or vacation spot. Every customer we service feels like a VIP and it’s great to know that Dream Catcher Coaches provides that “VIP” touch.”
“I am very picky about the mechanicals, safety, and cleanliness of our coaches. Our cleaning staff prepares the coaches before each trip with clean sheets and comforters. The coaches are cleaned and sanitized from top to bottom. Once the coaches are clean, we apply clear plastic carpet protectant to ensure the carpets stay clean. I can operate my coaches in confidence, knowing they come out of our shop in perfect shape.”
